As the new school year approaches, the Knox County Health Department is prioritizing student health and safety with a Back-to-School Immunization Clinic.
The clinic will be held this coming Saturday from 9 to 1 at the Bierhaus Building on North 2nd Street.
The clinic aims to provide essential vaccinations required for school entry, as well as recommended vaccines for various age groups, including young adults heading to college.
Dr. Alan Stewart is the Medical Officer of the Knox County Health Department and he emphasizes the goal of ensuring every child is ready to start the school year healthy and protected.
He says the clinic offers a convenient, no-cost opportunity for parents and guardians to update their children’s immunizations.
No appointment is necessary.
