A public meeting on electric vehicle charging is tomorrow in Vincennes.
The Indiana Department of Transportation is hosting the meeting as part of a series of informational gatherings regarding Charging the Crossroads, which is INDOT’s plan to expand Indiana’s statewide electric vehicle charging network.
Charging the Crossroads is a federally funded program with a goal of deploying a national network of at least 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations by 2030.
Public meetings are being held across the state as part of INDOT’s ongoing efforts to engage stakeholders with the program.
The meeting in Vincennes is July 16th at 11:30-am at Green Activities Center on the Vincennes University campus.
A presentation will begin 30 minutes after doors open.
