Several roads are scheduled to be closed for roadwork this week.

The Knox County Highway Department reports that Monty Road from US 50 to Old 50 is set to be closed today for overlay work.

Tomorrow Tuesday July 9th, Hebert Road from US 50 to Deer Creek Drive will also undergo overlay work and be closed.

On Wednesday and Thursday, crews will overlay Lemons Road, Butler Road and Trinity Road from Lower Hart Street to Highway 61.

On Friday, Tilly Road from Highway 159 and on west to the end of the road will undergo an overlay project.

In addition, starting Wednesday and running through Friday, asphalt sealing will take place on Appaloosa, Hazelwood and Hyde Park Drives.

Those roads will be open but traffic flow will be affected.
