Students planning to attend Vincennes University have about 10 days left to apply for housing scholarships.

The VU Residential Opportunity Scholarship program offers $1,500 per year, which translates to $750 per semester, to incoming and returning students on the Vincennes Campus.

VU President, Dr. Chuck Johnson says the scholarship application process was extended this year to July 15th due to changes and transformation to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid forms, or FAFSA.

Dr. Johnson says studies have shown that living on campus while attending college improves a students learning and engagement process and adds to the overall education experience.
