A change starts in the city of Washington today.

The city is no longer operating the city bus service.

The city says Ride Solution will continue to provide the service with no change in routes and there is no fee to use the service.

The Washington Street Department gave thanks to the passengers in the community for all the years that the city operated the transportation system.
