About two hundred people braved the heat this past weekend heat to attend the Electric River Jam.
The 4th annual event at the French Commons was held on Saturday with several new bands performing this year.
Organizer Kylor Shields told First City News that the crowd really enjoyed all of the new faces on stage.
” It was great to see the community show support and endure the heat. All the bands that played had great things to say about the way the festival was run and were very appreciative of the folks that came to watch and the opportunity to play and help support a good cause. Things went really smoothly and we just really appreciate the opportunity to use such a beautiful venue to host some live music!”
Plans are in the works for the 2025 event, but a date has not yet been set.
