A 71 year old Vincennes man has been convicted for child molesting for the 2nd time.

The jury returned a guilty verdict Wednesday against Milford Wallace after a trial in Knox Circuit Court.

Wallace had a previous child molesting conviction in 1992.

Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan says this case was filed in 2019 but had been continued several times.

Chief Deputy Prosecutor Mike Steiner presented the State’s case and praised the bravery required for the now 16 year old victim to come forward.

Sentencing will be next month.

Wallace faces 50 years in prison.
