Four Knox County food pantries are getting some financial assistance.

Duke Energy Community Relations Manager Kurt Phegley and the Edwardsport Power Plant Manager Jeff Hamilton recently presented the United Way of Knox County $10,000.

The funds will be divided four ways.

The Christ Community Center, the Blue Jean Center, Thursday Church and St. Vincent De Paul will each receive $2500 to assist in their efforts.
