The Vincennes Police Department is still investigating,  however a local missing child is safe.

On Wednesday detectives started looking into the disappearance of a 7 year old who was in the custody for the Indiana Department of Child Services.

The child was located at an address in Princeton, Kentucky.

Vincennes Police are encouraging anyone with additional information to contact their Detective Division.
