Three people died in a Memorial Day crash in Daviess County.

The two vehicle accident just before 5-am Monday a half mile passed the 56 mile marker and is still under investigation.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department has been working to identify the three who were pronounced dead at the scene.  All three were occupying one of the two vehicles.

The driver of the 2nd vehicle was taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
