18th century clothing is a common site around Vincennes this time of year.
As the 47th annual Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous approaches this weekend, many local residents involved in the historical themed event spend much of the month of May in their period clothing as they make their rounds promoting the Rendezvous.
That’s in addition to being dressed up for the entire Memorial Day weekend.
Longtime Marketing Director Mark Hill says the clothes are comfortable and he often he feels more like himself in his Rendezvous outfits.
