Over a dozen students are benefitting from the latest round of Vincennes Education Foundation Scholarships.

The foundation recently awarded $26,500 in scholarships to worthy graduates of the class of 2024 from Lincoln High School.

More than 12 scholarships were awarded ranging in amount from $500 to $2,500.

This is the 40th year for VEF, which was established in 1984, and serves to enhance the educationa lexperience of the students of Vincennes Community Schools.

Scholarship dollars are raised through fund-raising events and from loyal donors made up of alumni, friends of the VCSC and those wishing to honor a loved one through a charitable donation.
