Several turned out to celebrate an anniversary at the Pantheon in downtown Vincennes.

This week marked the 103rd anniversary of facility that was once a theatre playing host to the biggest names in entertainment in the 20th century.

The building now is a Co-working and Entrepreneurial Center serving the community in a different but no less important manner.

President and CEO of the Pantheon, Nicole Like talked to us about how the center is a vital part of Knox County’s economic opportunity, education, and growth.

Local economic leaders have given the Pantheon credit for bringing the people and ideas together in the creation of AgroRenew, the company that will build a bioplastics plant in the Knox County Industrial Park which is a more than $80 million investment in the community.

Groundbreaking for that plant is expected next month.
