A Knox County man was found guilty of sex crimes against children.

Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan says a jury convicted 69-year-old Michael Hartzburg of Bicknell of Vicarious Sexual Gratification, Sexual Misconduct with a Minor and Voyeurism.

He was arrested in September of 2022 in connection with the crimes involving his grandchildren.

Carnahan gave praise to the young victims who came forward.

After the verdict,  Hartzburg was booked into the Knox County Jail at 2pm on Thursday.

Sentencing is set for a later date.
