Daviess County authorities are thanking the public in aiding in an arrest.

On Thursday, a search warrant was served at several locations in connection with investigations into thefts from vehicles.

A number of items, including two stolen handguns were recovered.

Through homeowner security and doorbell camera footage and other information, police were able to gather evidence to arrest 23-year-old Brayton Lee White.

He was booked into the Daviess County Jail in Washington charged with several counts of Theft, Possession of Meth and Marijuana.

The investigation is continuing.
