The Vincennes YMCA has gotten a quarter million dollar gift from Good Samaritan.

At a recent check presentation, Good Sam donated the funds to go toward the Y’s efforts to raise $2.4 million to renovate a 3rd gym space into a multi-sports room.

That room will include a golf simulator, pickleball court, volleyball court and a batting cage.

The plan also includes renovation to the YMCA lobby and main entrance.

The donation comes with an additional wellness component for Good Sam caregivers.

Those employees will now receive a twenty five percent discount on YMCA memberships.
