The Vincennes Police Department continues to warn people of a local scam.

Residents have been receiving phone calls soliciting donations for the Vincennes PD to help the department’s School Resource Officer Program.

Vincennes PD says the department never asks for money especially over the phone and advise to never give out personal information over the phone.
