Duke Energy is conducting aerial tree trimming along high-voltage power lines in west central Indiana.
The work will be going on through late March.
A specialty contract helicopter crew using an aerial saw will be clear vegetation along power corridors from Washington to Edwardsport, Sullivan to West Terre Haute, and other locations.
Duke officials say the work ensures safe and reliable service by preventing vegetation from interfering with power lines. Property owners along the corridors have been notified.
